- I guess I get to contribute to the troll... :-)
-
- It's hard to answer your question, since you haven't given "better"
- much of a definition. Rather than fanning flames of comtempt from
- religious groups of either denomination, I encourage you to take a
- look at the "main" Ada web page:
-
- In the interest of fairness, you should also look at various web pages
- supporting C++, but I don't visit them often enough to have them
- memorized. Hopefully some kind reader will e-mail or post a good URL
- for that.
-
- Flame bait on(but only if you're _really_ sensitive):
- While looking at web pages won't give you answers, you should find
- various comparative summaries. From my experience with both
- languages, C++ is a subset of Ada 95 in almost every case, and Ada is
- starting to show that it can be more "terse" than C++ in several
- cases. Of course, your mileage may vary.
-
- One other comment, it would help a little if you crosspost requests
- for language comparisons to the language newsgroups you're comparing,
- lest you wind up with a rather lopsided analysis :-) (I've taken care
- of that issue in this newspost)
